Today I found everything you are supposed to find in a thrift store. The camera cost $2.45. I think it is a lenticular camera. Or 3D as it self advertises. I’m sure lenticular printing is pretty expensive but hopefully the film will look cool processed regularly. I assume it’s like a Lomography Action Sampler (mine is broken). I found a flickr group for the Nishika here. It seems people are just scanning the pictures, making them ‘3D’ in Photoshop and exporting them as animated gifs. I don’t really care to do any of that. I just like adding odd cameras to my collection. The best part of the camera might be that it’s spokesman was Vincent Price. You can check it out on YouTube.

It was in the 90s today. I love LA.

I’d love to get a set of cora carafes from CB2 for our bedside tables. The glass is also the lid so it keeps the dust out when not in use! They also have these cute beaker glasses that look like plastic cups. I was going to get a set for my brother to go with the glass water bottle carafe I got him last year but they were out of stock. Plus that might have been going too far with the theme. They come in two sizes but I’ve never really understood juice glasses. Too small for me. They are dishwasher safe, too. I’ll be sure to check these out when I go to CB2. That might not be for a while, though. We spent all day packing and moving. A big dent was made but there is a lot left to do. I’m excited.
