I went to the Los Angeles Municpal Art Gallery’s 2011 Benefit Auction on Sunday with John and Drew. It was held at the beautiful Barsndall Art Park in Los Feliz. I forget how great it is up there. I took some pictures with my new Panasonic point and shoot.

Another piece from Your Bright Future. A traditional Korean scholar’s house crashes into a US apartment. Fallen Star 1/5 by Do Ho Suh. This piece is massive and amazingly detailed.

Welcome and HappyHappy by Choi Jeong-Hwa out the LACMA. Part of Your Bright Future: 12 Contemporary Artists From Korea. I would definitely recommend checking out this show. It will be at the LACMA until September 20th. You can walk through the strings of plastic containers. It’s fun.

My friend Kim (Black Church) is playing tomorrow night at Show Cave in Echo Park. I think she is an all around amazing person so if you have no plans you should check it out.

Our friend Nick is throwing this tonight. We are helping make the food.
